Student commencement speaker
Each spring, the ASÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ student commencement speaker committee selects a graduating student to give an address during ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's spring commencement ceremony. The committee--made up of three students, one ASÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Senator, one communications faculty member, one representative from the Student Leadership and Involvement office, ASÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ advisor and one representative from the commencement planning committee--solicits nominations from any ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ community member and accepts applications from any fall, spring or summer graduate at any degree level (associate, bachelor's, master's or doctoral) and any ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ campus.
Nominations may be made by any member of the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ community and must be received by February 16, 2024.

A conduct check will be conducted through the Office of Rights, Compliance and Accountability to ensure the student speaker is a positive representative of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Students from any ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ campus are encouraged to apply.
