Parking Decal Design Contest!

The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Office of the Bursar is excited to announce the opening of a new contest for the design of next year's sustainable hanging parking decals. We are inviting ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students, staff, and faculty to showcase their creativity and submit a design that incorporates the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ themes. This is a unique opportunity for the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ community to leave a lasting impact on campus, as the winning design will be displayed on parking decals used throughout the university by students, staff, and visitors.

In addition to showcasing your artistic talents, this contest gives you the opportunity to contribute to an important functional element on campus. Parking decals are highly visible, and this is your chance to enhance the visual identity of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ through a practical design that will be used daily.

Once the finalists are selected, a poll will open to give ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ stakeholders the opportunity to cast their vote and help determine the winning design.

Don't miss this opportunity to make your mark on the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ campus and be part of a creative initiative that emphasizes innovation and community involvement. We look forward to seeing your innovative designs!

While ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ school colors are preferred, they are not required.

Submissions must be in .JPEG, .PNG or .PDF format.

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ logo and decal information will remain on bottom of decal as is.

Designs will be judged based on creativity, functionality, and visibility.

Traditional, digital, and photography submissions are welcome, with one entry allowed per category. Please note that artwork created using AI tools or software will not be accepted.

Artists only need to supply artwork for the background image.

If traditional, artists must be able to scan artwork. There is an 11x17 scanner in the Art Department. For anything bigger you can have Dateline Digital Printing scan it (it has to be flat and be able to go through rollers).

Things to keep in mind before submitting artwork:

The final design will be in portrait orientation.

If the artwork is too dark, the text on the decal may not show up on the printed decal and adjustments may need to be made.
