2023 President's Adjunct Awardees

Congratulations to Amy Ingram and Elizabeth Daravivanh for Receiving the President’s Adjunct Award!

The College of Liberal Arts is thrilled to celebrate Amy Horstman Ingram and Elizabeth Daravivanh as recipients of the President’s Adjunct Award for Fall Semester 2023! This honor recognizes their exceptional dedication to their students and the university community.

Amy, from the Department of Music, has spent 10 years inspiring students to pursue degrees at Ӱ, while also coordinating the Ӱ Summer Music Academy, recruiting faculty, and shaping the program’s success. Her colleague shared, “Amy cares greatly about the reputation of Ӱ and the Department of Music, making sure to promote the university in all of her numerous activities throughout Fairbanks.”

Elizabeth, an adjunct professor in the Department of Communication, is known for her innovative teaching and commitment to student growth. “Becoming the educator I want to be is a lifelong journey, requiring me to commit to continuous improvement and learn from each success and growth experience,” says Elizabeth. Department Chair Amy May adds, “Liz is a gifted COM scholar, practitioner, and educator. The work she does every day to support our students is above and beyond. We are so proud to have her as part of our COM-untiy!”
