Dear ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students, staff and faculty,
Welcome to a new year! For many of us in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, the winter break was filled with
snow, and then more snow after that. But, it gave us the opportunity to help each
other, whether it was helping to move snow, picking up a few groceries for a neighbor,
or sharing information on road conditions. We saw our own ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ staff taking care of
each of us over the break, putting in long hours making sure that pathways and roadways
on campus were passable 24 hours a day. I know we will continue to see that helpful
spirit throughout the semester that’s just started.Ìý
As you know, some classes may be held virtually for the first two weeks. Please be
patient as we settle into a new rhythm, and understand that it might take a while
for everyone to make their way back home due to travel delays and minimize the impact
of the latest COVID variant.
Keep an eye out for my COVID update that has been moved to Thursdays (once per month
or more as needed). Even if you do not see a new update, know that your colleagues
on the COVID business continuity team (formerly the operations support team) are at
work daily preparing, planning and advising on COVID operations.
Stop by if you have a chance to cheer on your or basketball teams, , or coed or . Lots going on with some of the in the country. Go Nooks!
Thanks for choosing ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.
