Dear ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ community,
On Monday we will take time off to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and
celebrate ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Civil Rights. This is an opportunity for all of us to contemplate
the challenges many have faced throughout our history, the progress made thus far,
and the work that remains to be done.
We also have an opportunity for self-reflection as members of the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ community. As
we strive to build a belonging, inclusive and caring community, we must ensure we
do more than just talk about those values. Let each of us promote them through everyday
actions as we work together to make ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ a place where all voices are equally heard,
and where every person may reach their potential.
The spirit of Monday’s holiday isn’t limited to a single day, and the most impactful
tribute to the legacies of Dr. King, Elizabeth Peratrovich, Katie John, and other
civil rights leaders in our history is to support equality and justice each and every
day of the year.
Thanks for choosing ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.
