Chancellor’s Report on Philanthropy
Spring 2023
Dear ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ supporter,
Spring is a time of renewal and rejuvenation, and this year has been no exception. As the chancellor of the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the spring season and the power of community.
This spring’s Giving Day — 49 Hours for ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ — resulted in over $830,000 in gifts and investments to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students and programs. That’s amazing! Seven hundred and ninety-two donors participated over those two days, joining our challenge sponsors and champions. Our community is truly special, and you are part of that.
Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Your support is essential to the continued success of our university and the students, faculty and staff who call it home. Your generosity directly impacts the lives of our students and provides them with the resources they need to achieve their academic and career goals. Your contributions will also support our faculty and staff in their important work, helping to advance knowledge and make a positive impact on our students, community, state and world.
As we move forward, I am reminded that the power of community is truly invaluable. Your support has been a source of strength and inspiration for all of us at the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks, and we are grateful for the contributions that you have made to our community.
Thank you for your continued support of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Your investment in our university is an investment in our future. We are truly grateful for your generosity.
Thank you,
Dan White
Chancellor
