The Mammal Collection is the 8th largest collection of mammals and the largest collection of marine mammals in North America. It includes , mostly from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and adjacent regions of Canada and Russia. There are world-class holdings of northern carnivores, including pinnipeds, and extensive chronological series of carnivores, shrews, and rodents. Tissues for more than 75,000 specimens are archived in Genomic Resources.
