Amy Broadwater to lead national counseling association
Amy Broadwater, an assistant professor in the counseling department with the school of education, has been named president-elect of the American College Counseling Association.
The ACCA is a large division of the American Counseling Association and is considered the foremost college counseling association for psychologists, licensed professional counselors, social workers, and counselor educators. Its mission is to be the interdisciplinary and inclusive professional home that supports emerging and state-of-the-art knowledge and resources for counseling professionals in higher education.
Broadwater will begin serving her three-year term on July 1, 2023.
