April rural staff spotlight: Cindy Andrecheck
Cindy Andrecheck has been a valuable Kuskokwim Campus employee since 2007. She began her KuC career working in financial aid before becoming an instructor of development studies and the Writing Center coordinator.
Andrecheck is an expert proofreader, a photographer and plays a vital role helping at commencement, along with everything else she does around campus. She loves ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Native arts and has a display of beautiful grass baskets and dolls in her office. She is also our campus historian, reminding us of where we began. Notable projects she has worked on include KuC’s 35-year anniversary and the upcoming 50-year celebration of serving students in our region.
Do you know a staff member from one of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s rural campuses who deserves recognition? Maybe someone who always works hard for their students, their co-workers, their community or ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ as a whole? You can nominate any staff member from a rural campus using this form.
If you have any questions, please contact ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Staff Council’s Rural Affairs Committee members Tara Borland at taborland@alaska.edu or Courtney Pagh at crpagh@alaska.edu.
