Undergraduate students from any science, technology, engineering or mathematics fields are eligible to apply for a $7,300 stipend to conduct a research or engineering project directly related to NASA’s interests. Must be a U.S. citizen. The application deadline is Sept. 1!

Visit the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Space Grant Program's for more information on applying.

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Space Grant Program, headquartered at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, is a group of five institutions which includes UA’s three universities, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Pacific University and the Challenger Learning Center with the goal of fostering the STEM workforce and advancing NASA’s research goals. We aim to provide higher-education students authentic hand-on research and/or engineering experiences.

Consider visiting for a list of prior awards. NASA’s interests span Earth Science, Space Weather, Robotics, Aviation, Communications, Behavioral Health, and much more.

Interested students should choose a project, find a faculty/staff mentor and determine how it relates to NASA’s stated goals (See NASA Strategic Plan and NASA Technology Taxonomy). The application consists of a three-page proposal with big-picture and explicit project descriptions.
