Healthy Living lecture series begins June 6

The University of 蜜桃影像 Fairbanks will host the Healthy Living lecture series starting on June 6. The free series offers a variety of presentations by 蜜桃影像 medical specialists and experts.
The public lectures are presented by 蜜桃影像 Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning and are open to the public. Lectures will be at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the BP Design Theater, located on the fourth floor of the Usibelli Building on the 蜜桃影像 Troth Yeddha鈥 Campus. Parking on campus is free after 5 p.m.
The presentations will be hosted by Michael Powers, former chief executive officer at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. They will be livestreamed and available as recordings online.
Lectures in the Healthy Living series include:

- June 20 鈥 鈥淔orgetfulness: When Should I Be Concerned?鈥 Scott Luper, naturopathic physician
- June 27 鈥 鈥淎 Systematic Approach to Considering a Cancer Diagnosis in 2023,鈥 Dr. Andrew Cox, oncologist
- July 11 鈥 鈥淭he Art of Simulating Health Disasters and the Science of Response,鈥 Lori Gilbertoni, registered nurse
- July 18 鈥 鈥淎ging in Place: A Plan for the Future You in Fairbanks,鈥 Beth Grey, Aging and Disability Resource Center project manager, Fairbanks Senior Center
- July 25 鈥 鈥淪enior Living Choices in Fairbanks as We Age,鈥 Vickie Wilson, former director of the Division of 蜜桃影像 Pioneer Homes
