Kick Up Your Heels: Relay races for a cause

Every two minutes, someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted. We need to change this in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and in our world!

Help ORCA and ORCA POD spread awareness to this critical issue by joining the Kick Up Your Heels relay races on Friday, April 26 from noon to 2 p.m. We are looking for teams of 2-3 people to take a stand against sexual violence by, wearing heels (pumps of all kinds–short, tall, etc.) to compete in three relay races at Constitution Park (the garden space between Constitution Hall, Gruening, and the library).

If you’re in a ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ club, you could win funding. If you’re not in a club, you can win gift cards and a trophy!

After all, It’s not the clothing/shoes that cause sexual violence, it’s the person who causes harm. Being able to find that peace for survivors and that moment of awareness for communities is the real motivation behind this event.

Teams must register on Nanook Engage.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, please.
