Learn about mindfulness and meditation

Are you curious about mindfulness and meditation but don’t know where to start? Join Wendy Martelle (ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ assistant professor of Applied Linguistics & ESL) and a community that will explore the many benefits of a mindfulness practice and how to apply the mindfulness journey in everyday life.

In these four sessions (Oct. 7, Oct. 21, Nov. 4, and Nov. 18 from noon-1:30 p.m.) you will learn how to begin a meditation practice, and we will have conversations on how mindfulness connects to our health, our emotions, and our thoughts. We will also explore the topics of compassion and forgiveness.
