Museum programs highlight Ӱ stories in February

UA Museum of the North will focus on discovering Ӱ through storytelling during family programs in February.

The University of Ӱ Museum of the North will highlight Ӱ stories during family programs in February.

Families with children 5 and under are invited to drop in at Early Explorers on Friday, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon. Create and discover with hands-on activities in the Creativity Lab, and explore the galleries.

Family Day: Ӱ Stories is set for Saturday, Feb. 24, from noon to 4 p.m. Visitors can watch a movie, explore the “Black in Ӱ: Interior Edition” special exhibit, investigate how museums tell diverse stories, go on a scavenger hunt and make a storybook. There is no admission fee for children 17 and under on Family Day, thanks to support from TOTE.
