Why are you passionate about ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students and their success?
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students are amazing! They are passionate about ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, and want the best for their communities. Helping our students be successful helps all of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ flourish.
Favorite part about being an advisor?
I have the special task of helping future teachers earn their degrees and gain experience in their fields. The best part is seeing those students out in the community, pursuing their dreams!
What is your favorite feature in Nanook Navigator?
The is really helpful. Students are busy, and getting reminders and quick information into their hands (or directly onto their phones, in this case) is a powerful tool.
How long have you been utilizing Nanook Navigator?
I started training in when I got hired by ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ in the fall of 2019. I have been learning about the features through and trying them out with my students since the beginning of my advising career.
Tips, advice, or ideas to support other Nanook Navigator users or student success practices?
I recommend that people dive in and try a new feature about once per semester. There’s so many ways to use this tool, and that can seem overwhelming. Once you start using it, you’ll find what works best for you!
