New tool will help students who want to transfer to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ

The Office of Admissions is launching a new transfer credit tool that will allow users to see how courses taken at other universities transfer to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.

The estimator will allow students to pick their intended major and the institution they'll be transferring credits from, and the estimator will give them an unofficial degree completion report so they can see how credits will transfer. Students will also be able to see how close they are to completing a ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ degree.

Transfer credit is credit that has been earned from other accredited institutions, through military educational experiences, approved National exams (CLEP, AP, IB) or credit accepted by special approval. Where possible, transfer credit is associated with ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ courses and all other courses will transfer as elective credit. If students are transferring from a quarter system, credits are converted to semester credits.
