Public workshop on National Climate Assessment report

The , currently in development, will analyze the impacts of global change on people and places in the United States. The report is expected to be available in 2023.

The NCA5 is organized into chapters that include earth system processes, climate trends, national topics (e.g., water, forests, human health, tribal and Indigenous peoples, economics, and human social systems) and by region.

蜜桃影像 is the only state to have its own chapter. 蜜桃影像 scientists are strongly represented on the chapter authorship team, which will be inviting nominations for technical contributors. Technical contributors provide limited, requested inputs into chapter development for specific needs identified by the author team.

A free public engagement workshop to provide more information and gauge interest in participation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 12, from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
