Seeking feedback on new indicators for accreditation
Nov. 16, 2021
The vice provost's office is seeking feedback on a revised set of key performance indicators for ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's new seven-year accreditation cycle.
Indicators are goal-based metrics of performance that we can measure and track over time. This helps ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ assess whether we are fulfilling our mission consistently, and whether there are areas we can improve upon. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s institutional accreditor, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, requires that we conduct this type of institutional assessment regularly. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ tracked 31 indicators during our last accreditation cycle from 2012-2019.
See the proposed new indicators and provide your feedback here. The form will be open for feedback until Dec. 18. For more information, email Michelle Strickland at mastrickland@alaska.edu.
