ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ 2023 construction projects

Construction Season at the Troth Yeddha’ campus is coming quickly and will feature two large projects that are major milestones in the revitalization of campus. In early May, contractors will be mobilizing to the Moore and Bartlett Halls to complete a $27.5 million modernization and infrastructure renewal project. The work will completely rebuild the restroom and shower facilities on each level, providing modern amenities and addressing a decades-long problem with failing plumbing systems. The work will also refresh the resident dwelling units with new finishes and furniture. The work will span a 14-month period and the two residence halls will be closed until fall 2024. During the 2023/2024 academic year, students will be housed in the three residence halls along Denali Lane: Nerland, Stevens, and McIntosh Hall.

Later in the summer, the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Student Success Center will kick off construction activities on the 6th floor of the Rasmuson Library. The project will transform the floor into spaces for tutoring, advising, career services, and student study space in support of the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Student Success Center. Work will occur from June 2023 through July 2024, with the center moving into its new home in August 2024.

Facilities Services is also managing approximately 30 other active construction projects across the Troth Yeddha’ campus. For additional information on those, check out the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Construction Map or contact the Division of Design and Construction at 907-474-5299.
