Volunteers wanted for campus Flower Planting Day

The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Grounds crew is looking for volunteers for the 2023 campus Flower Planting Day on Wednesday, June 7. Beginning at 9 a.m., flower beds will be available to plant across the Fairbanks campus.
There will be a sign-up table and refreshments in front of Constitution Hall, along with maps and planting tools. You are encouraged to bring your own gardening gloves.
All participants will be entered into a prize drawing to win a flower basket. Two baskets will be given away at the end of the day.
The flowers for campus are purchased using private funds through the Ruth Hewitt Endowment, a fund that was set aside for landscaping and beautification of campus.
