Volunteers needed for Rev-It-Up

The Rev It Up move-in event will welcome new students to the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks on Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rev-It-Up, held in the Moore-Bartlett-Skarland (MBS) housing complex, is a one-stop shop for information students will need for life at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.

This year students will be able to check into their rooms and meet with people from the following campus offices: Academic Advising Center, Office of Admissions, Dining Services, Financial Aid, Office of Information Technology, Nanook Recreation, New Student Orientation, Parking Services, Polar Express, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Post Office, Rural Student Services, and Student Health & Counseling Center.

Residence Life staff will meet students in the MBS parking lot and with the help of volunteers, will unload and deliver luggage to rooms. During this time, students will have the opportunity to meet with various departments waiting to welcome them to their new home away from home!

Residence Life is requesting that any faculty, staff, or students who are interested in volunteering for Rev-It-Up complete an online registration form. For those not familiar with Rev-It-Up, this is an annual move-in event that will welcome first-year students to their new homes at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. If you would like to volunteer, please complete the Rev-It-Up by close of business on Aug. 18, 2022.
