The Office of Intellectual Property and Commercialization is the stop for any student, staff, or faculty interested in moving their ideas and innovations into beneficial applications with societal impacts. We provide support and answer questions on the process for patenting and licensing inventions. America’s Seed Fund for Innovation

April, 2024. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ FAST, Federal And State Technology Partnership program, was created to increase the number of America’s Seed Fund SBIR/STTR awards for women, socially/economically disadvantaged individuals, and small businesses in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.

 

Innovation for ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ: Problem Solving and Ideation Class

April, 2024. Join BA/HSEM 494: Innovation for ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and the Arctic for the 2024 fall semester! Types of projects include: How can we solve heavy lift platform needs for deploying equipment? What is the next generation flight suit for arctic operations? Can geophysical data be integrated into domain awareness platforms? Students discuss needs with DoD operators and installations in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and across the U.S. There is the potential to visit DoD facilities, learn about their needs and build towards solutions.
