ACEP wants data from you!

The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Center for Energy and Power at the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ at Fairbanks is leading research in the potential for electric vehicles in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ as part of its Electric Vehicles in the Arctic project.

The EVITA project team is especially interested in data on electric pick-up trucks, SUVs and ATVs driven through winter in areas that get to -30F or colder.

Data will help update the and inform further research.

If you are interested in participating and want to learn more about the project, email Michelle Wilber at mmwilber@alaska.edu. The team will work with you to collect energy use data available from your vehicle and provide a small incentive for participation.

EVITA is funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation program.
