Attend ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's New Student Orientation (NSO) and connect with all of the programs, departments, people and opportunities that ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ has to offer. This action-packed day on campus will help you succeed as you transition into your college experience!

New student orientation | Jan. 10, Friday

All new students are required to attend New Student Orientation.

We've planned a full day of activities to help you connect with other ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students, discover resources and learn to navigate your new ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ home!

Fees: The cost of participating in New Student Orientation is included in your student matriculation fee.

Stay Connected with Residence Life

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ is invested in your success as a student. Experience and research conclusively shows that living on campus — especially during your first year in college — leads to academic success and greater connection to the campus community.

All incoming first-year undergraduate students attending the Troth Yeddha' Campus in Fairbanks who are enrolled in 9 credits or more, and under the age of 21, are required to live on campus. Exceptions are approved in some circumstances.

 

 

Immunizations

All newly admitted students living in campus housing must provide proof of the following immunizations, which can be uploaded to the Student Health and Counseling Center patient portal.

  • Meningococcal (MCV4) - administered after the age of 16
  • Tetanus (Tdap, TD) - administered in the last 10 years
  • 2 Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR)
  • Tuberculosis Skin Test (TB) - required with initial move-in
