ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit
The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) is one of 16 other regional CESUs, each based on a distinct biogeographical region, which are a part of a broader national framework of CESUs. The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ CESU focuses on Arctic and Subarctic anthropology, landscapes, ecology, archeology, and physical and biological sciences.
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ CESU Mission Statement
To create a collaborative partnership between academic and federal agencies that delivers
high quality science and human expertise in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's unique cultures and ecosystems
to federal resource management, environmental and research agencies that have responsibilities
or interest in northern latitude issues.
