Kuskokwim Campus in Bethel, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, part of the College of Indigenous Studies of the
University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks, is the only CIS campus that has a residence life facility.
This dormitory would not have become a reality without the untiring efforts of , for whom the dorm is named.
At 21 in 1966, Sackett became the youngest person ever elected to the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Legislature.
He spent 18 of the next 20 years representing rural ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ presented Sackett
with an honorary doctorate in 2013.
