Pathfinder Award

The Pathfinder Award is an annual award established in 2012 to honor one outstanding University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks staff member who possesses a high degree of ethical standards, compassion and dedication to the academic success of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Native and rural students. This award is open to all staff employed by the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks, including ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s branch campuses.

Climate Change and Subsistence Impacts

Selected students will spend 5 weeks during the 2022 season participating in a two-week intensive course and three-weeks of fieldwork in Arctic Village, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Students are also expected to commit to a second season of fieldwork (2023) in the Bristol Bay region.
