Help shape ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's budget priorities

Do you have an idea that will help ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ meet its strategic goals and has a high return on investment? With support from your dean or director, you can request funding for your idea. The chancellor and core cabinet select proposals for possible funding or inclusion in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s annual budget request to the UA president and Board of Regents. This year’s submissions are for potential funding in FY27. FY27 begins July 1, 2026, and ends June 30, 2027.

 

Planning and Budget Committee

Submit projects, operating needs, staffing requests or initiatives that help advance university goals. These submissions are only for state ongoing base operating funding, or one-time funding for state capital initiatives. Capital research, equipment or IT requests are typically large-scale items and can include large, specialized equipment, research or technology equipment, or other research-focused proposals of interest to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. It can take a year or more to receive funding through this process.

 

Strategic Enrollment Planning

Submit initiatives aimed at increasing student enrollment and retention. Initiatives will be reviewed by the Planning and Budget Committee.

 

Federal appropriations

Projects must benefit ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and be of interest to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s members of Congress.
