Drone completes first flight from Nenana to Fairbanks airport

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's leading public uncrewed aircraft program made another significant advance Friday when a drone flew from the Nenana airport and landed at Fairbanks International Airport. The flight, conducted by a University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks research center, was the first in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ of a drone departing one airport and arriving at a controlled airport.

ACEP and partners receive $6 million to help secure electric grids

The University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Center for Energy and Power and partners have received $6 million from the National Science Foundation to conduct the study.
