    One Health Video Showing and Poster Session

    We are kicking off One Health Week with a documentary film about One Health in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.  It will take place from 4-5:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28, in the Murie Building auditorium. A discussion with people featured in the film and a poster session will follow the screening. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP for the event. One Health is a holistic approach to well-being that recognizes the interdependence of human, animal and environmental health. Monday’s event is sponsored by the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Center for One Health Research (COHR), University Relations and the Biomedical Learning and Student Training (BLaST) program. The video will also be shown in Sitka at the WhaleFest film festival at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 31 in the Harrigan Centennial Hall. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Graduate School Dean Michael Castellini, a WhaleFest featured speaker, will discuss the marine ecosystem and human impacts on the oceans at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 in the hall.     One Health, One Future 2023
