Our services

The Student Success Center at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ provides a modern, inviting community environment that facilitates collaboration and private study. Schedule academic tutoring from multiple disciplines, academic success coaching, career advising, testing and exam services, and reserve private space for study. All services are also offered online.

  Academic advising

The Academic Advising Center is here to help with registration, adding or dropping classes, discussing academic difficulties, and more. Our first-year advisors provide foundational skills, resources, and academic support for students during their initial 30 credits for four-year degree programs.

  Academic coaching

Academic coaching is a partnership between students who seek to improve their study strategies and peer coaches who are trained to listen, ask thought-provoking questions, help students identify resources, and set goals.

 

  Career advising

Career Services is here to help you pave your post-college path. Meet with our advisor to explore career options, perfect your resume and cover letter, prepare applications for internships and jobs, practice interviewing, make connections with employers, and take control of your future!

  Communication coaching

The Communication Center helps ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students and faculty prepare for course-related oral presentations, speeches, interviews and speaking engagements or public presentations outside the classroom.

 

  Math tutoring

Math tutoring is available through the Department of Mathematics and Statistics Math Services, and the for students enrolled in lower division ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ MATH and STAT courses.

  Mental health counseling

A counselor from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s Student Health and Counseling Center are available at the Student Success Center. They can assist with various personal and interpersonal issues and connect students to mental health workshops, support groups, and other resources. Walk-in counseling is available without a scheduled appointment in room 616.

  Tech Support

Visit the Nanook Technology Services help office in room 614 of the Student Success Center for tech support. No appointment needed.

  Testing Services

As a national test center, eCampus Testing Services administers paper-and-pencil and computer-based exams for current and prospective students. 

  Writing tutoring

Get help in all phases of the writing process—brainstorming and generating topics, organizing ideas, developing research strategies, using citation styles (MLA, APA, Chicago, and more), and editing for clarity and correctness.
