Student Sustainability Board

susboard

The Student Sustainability Board is seeking members! Members provide feedback on student-run sustainability programs, assist with student engagement, plan events, and develop/select projects for funding. Participation on the board counts towards service hours and engagement for the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Honors College Climate Scholars Program.

Members can expect to spend 2-6 hours per month total attending meetings and working on projects. Students must be enrolled in 3 credits per semester during the academic year to participate as a voting member, and 6 credits to hold office.  While there are 11 voting members (8-10 students, 1 faculty, and 0-2 staff), all students may participate in open board meetings (non-voting) and activities. Please contact CSE Sustainability Coordinator Christi Kemper at cmkemper@alaska.edu for more information.
