Classes at Ft. Wainwright

We offer flexible on-site evening classes and fully online degree programs, depending on your schedule and study preferences. Take general education classes that can be applied to a variety of degrees. We also offer accelerated terms during the regular semester. Programs are available to civilians as well as military service members, veterans and families.

Free testing services

Earn college credit for what you already know by taking introductory level college subject exams. Fort Wainwright is home to National Test Center sites for CLEP and DSST testing. This testing is free for the military and can help you save money on classes. We also offer writing, reading and math placement tests to help you find the right starting point for you in your academic program.

Academic and army education benefit advising services

We have expert advisors available at Fort Wainwright to help you plan out your degree program, apply for financial aid and more. If you need help with coursework, you can also access tutoring services as needed.
