Organizations
Feminist Majority Foundation
The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF), which was founded in 1987, is a cutting edge organization dedicated to women’s equality, reproductive health, and non-violence. In all spheres, FMF utilizes research and action to empower women economically, socially, and politically. Our organization believes that feminists of all genders are the majority, but this majority must be empowered.
Lambda Legal
Lambda Legal’s lawyers have won precedent-setting civil rights cases on everything from marriage equality to expressions of gender identity to health care discrimination. We have made legal history since day one, winning our right to incorporate. We then got to work using our knowledge of the law to fight for our community’s lives and dignity.
National Abortion Rights League
The 4 million members of NARAL Pro-Choice America fight for reproductive freedom for every body. Each day, we organize and mobilize to protect that freedom by fighting for access to abortion care, birth control, paid parental leave, and protections from pregnancy discrimination.
National Center for Lesbian Rights

National Women's History Alliance
The National Women’s History Alliance, founded in 1980 as a non-profit educational organization, is committed to ensuring women’s history becomes mainstream. The NWHA is a catalyst, promoter of women’s history in K-12, content provider, and creator of a myriad of activities promoting women as leaders and influencers. The NWHA leads both local and national efforts, consults, publishes, distributes, inspires, advises, and networks with a wide variety of institutions and activists in the field. NWHA has a nationwide presence as the number one resource for information and educational material about the unfolding roles of women in American history.
Sociologists for Women in Society
Sociologists for Women in Society is a nonprofit professional feminist organization dedicated to (1) encouraging the development of sociological feminist theory and scholarship, (2) transforming the academy through feminist leadership, career development, and institutional diversity, (3) promoting social justice through local, national, and international activism and (4) supporting the publication and dissemination of cutting edge feminist social science.
