The University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Museum of the North will host a free public event to celebrate the diverse narratives of Black ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñns on Friday, Feb. 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The celebration will showcase "Black in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ: Interior Edition," a multimedia exhibit that examines the rich history and experience of Black life in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ through storytelling.

A meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Fairbanks wrote: "After a brief 'warm-up' from the bitterly cold temperatures recently, another prolonged cold-snap will return to the Interior."
