As we enter the new year and a new academic semester, there are many things to feel optimistic about. It is a time for assessing how we did over the past year and for setting new goals for the coming year. Some targets we miss, and learn from - those are usually the ones that help us the most! Some things we achieve, and could be better at celebrating. However you approach it, turning the corner on a new year helps us put in perspective how far we have come. In Administrative Services, we are excited to hit the ground running in 2023 and we're already thinking about ways to celebrate the achievements yet to come.

Be loud and research proud! Cheer alongside our research units on Saturday, Feb. 4 as the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Nanooks hockey team takes on the Arizona State University Sun Devils. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, with support from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Athletics, is celebrating all things research with our second annual "Research at the Rink" day! Join VCR Nettie La Belle-Hamer as she drops the puck at 7:07 p.m. at the Carlson Center.

Friday Focus: Leading with the information we have

Retired Army Maj. Gen. General Mark Hamilton was the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ president from 1998-2010. For those who know him, you know that he is a wonderfully gifted storyteller. As president, he lifted many up with stories he shared to which all could relate to their own lives in one way or another. It created a sense of belonging for many. Many of his stories were about leadership. One of my favorite stories he told at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ was his great Americans story. At least that is what I call it. I paraphrase it here with plenty of literary liberties taken.

Molly Enochs hired as new Governance Office manager
January 26, 2023
Molly Enochs was hired as the new Governance Office manager in December 2022 and assumed her role at the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Troth Yeddha' campus on Jan. 9. Although she is new to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, Enochs brings with her more than eight years of experience in project management, process improvement, and leadership.
